What IS a psychotherapist?  Well, we could give you the Webster's definition, but you could get that yourself.  In brief, a psychotherapist is a counselor or support person who helps people with their emotional/social/mental processes.  Usually, a psychotherapist has a Masters level degree either in social work or psychology and is generally licensed or certified by their state licensing board.  Psychotherapists are NOT psychics or mystics....if that's what you are looking for, we'd suggest you try another website.
